I certainly have and would recommend you to anyone with computer difficulties. When I bought my computer at age 75 I knew nothing and with your gentle and easy to understand direction you made all possible. Thank you for coming to my home to help my daughter with her computer training. She felt so comfortable with you and I appreciated your knowledge and patience in training me alongside her. Our experience with you was so positive and it is very comforting knowing that we still have you available even after a couple of years; you’ve always been just an email away. Cassandra has done better in school as a result of your training and we are very grateful for your expertise. We hope that when she upgrades her software we will see you again!

Recommended Adaptive Software
Kurzweil 3000
This assistive software allows the worker to scan their text books and worksheets into a file on their computer. Kurzweil also reads the text to allow them focus on the context, which can increase the reading rate and comprehension. This helps the reading to be less stressful and tiring. Many colleges and university scan the textbooks for the workers in the disability dept. Kurzweil 3000 is recommended due to the study tools that are included in the program. Students can highlight and extract text and transfer their notes to a word processing program.
Dragon Voice Recognition
The Dragon Naturally Speaking software allows the worker hands-free operation of their computer. The worker can input text directly into applications such as Word, Outlook and Excel by voice. This type of software can give relief from typing to a worker with bi-lateral hand injuries or any type of injury that requires typing. The use of a digital recorder with the Dragon program allows the worker to record lectures or training sessions instead of taking notes. The injured worker experiencing pain or taking medication may find concentrating difficult for long periods of time. The recorder will allow the client to listen to the lecture when they are more able to concentrate. It also allows the worker to record their own voice and then transfer it to their computer into a word processing program. The worker needs to be given adequate time to practice the use of the commands so they achieve a high level of accuracy to allow them to be productive.
